1. I agree as a precondition to my participation in the Revolutions for Research Charity Bike Event including, that I will be strictly bound by the terms of this Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement (“the Agreement”).

2. I acknowledge that the bike ride involves inherent risks and dangers that may cause serious injury and possible death to participants.

 

3. I fully understand the risks and dangers associated with my participation in the bike ride and accept same entirely at my own risk.

 

4. I hereby waive all claims which I may have against The Cure Cancer Foundation and release The Cure Cancer Foundation from all liability for injury, death, property damage or any other loss sustained by me because of my participation in the bike ride due to any cause whatsoever; including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care by The Cure Cancer Foundation.

 

5. I fully understand and will abide by the rules of the road.

6. CSA approved bike helmets must be worn by all riders.

7. A bike must have at least one working brake.

8. Riders must be equipped with either a red-light taillight or red rear reflector when riding at dawn, dusk or in the dark.

9. Proper biking hand signals must be used at all intersections throughout the route.

10. All riders must sign in prior to the race and check out upon completion.

I AM 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, AND I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND “THE AGREEMENT”. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A PROMISE NOT TO SUE The Cure Cancer Foundation AND THAT IT CONSTITUTES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND AN INDEMNITY FOR ALL CLAIMS.
