On Saturday, April 20, we toasted Cal Nichols and raised vital funding to support ground-breaking Alberta-made cancer research and treatment. 

Today, we are very proud to announce the results of our Toast!

We are proud to announce that our toast raised $450,000 to directly fund two new CAR T-cell immunotherapy labs at the Cross Cancer Institute, which will drastically bring down the cost of this groundbreaking cancer treatment.

In addition to the funds raised at the event, We are delighted to inform you that online donations have contributed an additional $30,000 to our cause. With the invaluable support of our community, we have surpassed our initial goal, raising just under $500,000. 

The Oilers's 5050 pot is over $3 million, and the main draw is tonight!

The Alberta Cancer Foundation, along with the Ben Stelter Foundation and Kids with Cancer Society, have been selected as recipients of a portion of the 50/50 proceeds for the first round of Edmonton Oilers playoff games!

By purchasing a 50/50 ticket, you not only have the chance to win big, but you’re also helping to fund ground-breaking immunotherapy research, treatment and care in Alberta.
