Thank you to the Lions with Hearts of Gold!

We want to express our gratitude and acknowledge the Cluny Lions Club for donating $5,000 to the Cure Cancer Foundation on April 14, 2023.

Lions International is a global group of individuals with 1.4 million members dedicated to improving their communities and the world. There are 50 thousand Lion Clubs worldwide, including one in the Hamlet of Cluny.

Cluny’s Lions Club invited our own Barrie Stafford to be a guest speaker at the Wild Game Supper of 2023. Barrie is well known in Alberta as a long-time Equipment Manager for the Edmonton Oilers and a cancer survivor. The amazing group donated the $5,000 to acknowledge Barry and his time to the Cure Cancer Foundation.

Thank you to the Cluny Lions Club for its very generous donation. The money raised will help us continue funding cancer research and care in Alberta.
