New Glenn Anderson Day of Golf Website!

We're excited to unveil the new Day of Golf website. It’s not just a fresh look; we’ve also updated the history of the tournament, the story of how Glenn Anderson became involved, and highlighted the causes that this year’s golf classic will support.

Funds raised from this year's Day of Golf will contribute to:

  • • Purchasing and installing an MR-Sim at the Cross Cancer institute.
  • • Building two new state-of-the-art immunotherapy labs at the Cross Cancer Institute.

We're delighted to share the new Day of Golf website. Thank you to our many supporters, donors, partners, and volunteers who make this important event possible every year.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Derrick Golf and Winter Club on August 8.

Par for a Cure!

Can’t make it to this year’s Day of Golf, but still want to show your support?

The par at the Derrick Golf and Winter Club is 70. With that in mind, we invite you to join us in driving out cancer with a one-time $70 donation.

Your generous donation will directly impact the construction of two new state-of-the-art immunotherapy labs and the purchase and installation of an MR-Sim.

The Alberta Cancer Foundation issues your charitable tax receipt as the campaign partner of the Cure Cancer Foundation.

Help us sink cancer with a par donation today!

Legacy Pucks

The Cure Cancer Foundation is incredibly grateful to our generous partners, whose philanthropy makes our work possible. Argus has been a major supporter for many years, consistently giving back to the community since its inception in 1958.

Argus supports charities that impact its employees and their families, including the Cure Cancer Foundation, Kids with Cancer, the Make a Wish Foundation, and the Stollery Children's Hospital. Many Argus employees have been personally affected by cancer.

Argus initiated the "Argus Legacy Puck" program, using its design and manufacturing skills to create keepsakes commemorating donations to worthy causes. Originally intended to celebrate hockey achievements, the Legacy Puck now honours community leaders and charitable efforts in Edmonton.

The pucks have been successfully auctioned off to support multiple myeloma research. The latest Legacy Puck unveiled at this year's Toast of the Town event, honoured Cal Nichols, a local businessman who twice saved the Edmonton Oilers from leaving the city and has been a supportive community member.

The Legacy Puck serves as a lasting reminder of the pride in supporting cancer research.

Thank you to Argus for your incredible support of cancer research.

A limited number of Legacy Pucks, complete with a photo certificate, are still available for purchase. To own one and support multiple myeloma research, please email Barrie Stafford for more information.
