Last chance to Buy Your 50/50 Tickets!

Stream-Flo Industries has partnered with the Alberta Cancer Foundation for a new fundraising initiative.

Until tonight at midnight, you can purchase 50/50 tickets. Half of the proceeds will go to the fundraiser, while the other half could be yours!

Funds raised will go directly toward purchasing and installing a state-of-the-art MR-Sim radiotherapy device. This machine can accurately target cancer cells that are often difficult to radiate due to the normal body functions such as breathing which, can constantly move tumours in soft tissue.

The treatment will be developed at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, and the MR-Sim machine will be housed in the new lab that is being developed at the Cross Cancer Institute.

This innovative equipment will significantly enhance cancer diagnostics by:

  • 🧬providing imaging with up to 60% higher resolution and improved soft tissue definition

🧬and improved treatment accuracy that minimizes the risk of damaging healthy cells
