We are so proud and excited to announce that Dr. Gino Fallone has won yet another award for his contribution to cancer research, the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists 2021 Gold Medal Award – touted as the highest honour in Canada in the medical physics world.
As you may know, the Cure Cancer Foundation has supported Dr. Fallone’s research for many years through our Day of Golf events.
Dr. Fallone invented the Linac-MR, which combines the linear accelerator that delivers radiation with an MRI, allowing doctors to view the tumor in real time.
