World's Longest Hockey Game

Come down to cheer on the incredible players as they skate day and night for an important cause. Your support from the stands helps fuel their efforts and raises vital funds for cancer research. Whether you stay for an hour or make a day of it, every cheer and every donation makes a difference.

This is a family-friendly event, so bring your whole team. Enjoy great hockey, a fun atmosphere, and the chance help improve the lives of cancer patients in Alberta.

Limited merchandise will be available at a first come first serve basis. A portion of all merchandise sales goes toward the cause of the World's Longest Hockey Game.

You can donate to an individual player to help them meet their personal fundraising goal, or donate directly to the World’s Longest Hockey Game.

You can donate online, or on-site 24-7 in the donation tent.

Witness the breaking of a Guinness World Record on February 16 as the World’s Longest Hockey Game comes to an end. This extended hockey marathon supports life-saving cancer research and treatment in Alberta.

Families can stop by to watch the action, feel the incredible community spirit, and learn how the event is helping fund advanced cancer care.

The closing ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. on February 16, but visitors are welcome to stop by earlier to catch the game in action.

The World's Longest Hockey Game Will Help Bring Life-Saving Cancer Treatment Home!

Right now, CAR T-cell immunotherapy is one of the most promising cancer treatments available, but it requires Alberta patients to have their cells sent out of province for processing. It’s costly, slow, and limits access.

With your help, the Cure Cancer Foundation is raising $2.5 million by fall of 2026 to purchase the critical equipment needed to bring this therapy home to the Cross Cancer Institute. This state-of-the-art technology will allow scientists and clinicians to create personalized, cancer-fighting immune cells right here in Edmonton. This treatment will be faster, safer, and at a fraction of the current cost.
